My new property.

The house will be back from
the road about 25-30 meters,
and in from the river 15
meters (required by law).

note: one meter equals 3.3 feet

The property is 30 X 40 meters, and has approximately 65 or 70 fairly
young Teak trees on it. They will fetch about 1000 bucks apiece in 5
or 10 years, and should come in very handy as an extra income
source in my advanced years.

instrumental in the acquisition of the
property. Jorge had no intentions of
selling any of this for quite some time,
but Jackie managed to get him to sell
me the best part along the river and
next to the road. Thanks Jackie and
Jorge, and Mark, and everybody else!

The water people got the backhoe out
and laid the new water lines to the
house, but we are still working on
getting the electricity to the property.

OK, it's obvious I didn't major in architectural drawing...but
that's what an architect is for, isn't it? The house will be built
from the drawings below. It will be a combination of concrete,
concrete pre-fab panels, steel and wood.
