Another Year in the Jungle
12-31-2007, by tsdaly
I hate to get all sentimental around New years, so I will. It was just
another year in the jungle. Another looms ahead like a well travelled
road.
I built a new home next to a beautiful river, one of my dogs died,
someone gave me another one. Life goes on. The cabin is rented
to a nice couple; a chef and an artist that work locally. I love my
new home but have few friends to share it with besides my dogs,
and I am very happy to have them. I do miss Mini-Mutt and still cry
when I think of her death. I need to get out more and try to socialize,
but I feel so inept at it. There's a party up at Mistura tonight and I
may attend.
The DOLLAR is down, unrest in the Middle East is high, prices are
going up, my spirits are being consumed as I write. I hate the
holidays.
Hope things all work out somehow.
