WALKIN' THE DOGS
Every morning walk begins with crossing El Rio Cortezal, unless, of course,
I go the other direction.  Usually, though, I go off through the bamboo
The photos above were all taken this morning between 0600 and 0630.  I think I will
add some archive bamboo pics
cause most of these suck..  Here's a few..below.  Stay
tuned..
This is vintage 2005 walkin the dogs, before
the bridge, before my house..sure was
pretty back then..Why do people have to
come along and fuck everything up?
Hi Muttly and Mini-Mutt!
I miss you guys every day.
Took these on the walk
today 10-10-2011.

(In which John and Tom discover an old
river cable chair while walking the dogs.  I
know..WOW!  Try to remain calm.)
STUDIO B.3
Granted, this wasn't a particularly great day of
photo-taking, but...soon, I would like to show
the difference in the view after the still
inexplicable river work done.  see next
Jungle
Journal.
AND... there's what GARY is
doing
..gotta share that.   I'm all over it!   Or
..shud be.  ..but
I am in it now (thank you
Gary
) it seems.  May as well see if I can
make a difference.

This once beautiful and often visited
walking attraction of Uvita, and 6 year
neighboring paradise is being destroyed
by various entities.  (Photos and story
to follow).  I believe this area is as
important to Uvita to preserve as the
waterfall, and the beaches.  It is a
destination hiking point even
marked on satellite images
.. within
reach of town.  It is loved and
appreciated by locals and visitors from
around the globe..and of course, me
and my dogs.  It should NOT be torn up
and turned into a housing tract.
Besides the impracticalities for any
dumb ass that would build in there, I
just hate to see it fucked up cause some
asshole needs a little cash.
