I took Muttinhead and Rocky Raccoon for a ride to Palmar Norte to see if the little
computer store there had a TV card for the PC.  Nice day, great ride, Muttinhead rode
in her seat, face-forward with her usual intense interest in all ahead.  Rocky Raccoon
in the middle, leaning on my right arm and often looking at me with love and just
happiness to be there.  Such sweet dogs.

I needed a video input source after the new PC was created with great swiftness, but
little concerned communication.  Palmar Norte is not well known for high tech computer
stores, but I remembered there was one little shop there I had found once.  My regular
guy in San Isidro gave me a run-around on the phone so I thought. "Fuck Him, I'll go
find a TV card somewhere..anywhere."  There are fewer hills going to Palmar Norte,
and it's a nicer drive in general, cruising down the coast instead of over the mountain.

Worth a shot, I thought.  Indeed, it was:  although I thoroughly confused the operator
of the place with my problematic mis-use of "TU" and "YO" and "tiene" and "tengo", I
found in the showcase just what I was looking for.  A TV CARD with an S-video, and
other inputs along with a program for doing TVR type TV watching and recording.

Sure if you're in the US, you  have your TIVO, or PVR on DISH Satellite, or whatever,
but that doesn't happen here.  I've spent five years trying to get back to where I was 7
years ago since I've been here, technically.

Anyhow,  it works, and I have a new toy.  The dogs enjoyed the ride, and so did I.
