A few of the local bugs
Don't have a clue what this is, big though;
glad there haven't been more.
A rare Brush-Tailed Moth.
(If it isn't; it should be)
<<<This is easily the most disgusting bug I've
stomped. It was a spider that had worms in it...oh
MAN! Just when you think you've seen it all.
This bug was one of the first I shot with
my pellet gun. He took one in the leg
before I smacked him with a sandal.
After reviewing the pictures, I realized it
was jut a big stupid bug..or so.I thought
at the time..
I was watching Animal Planet later, and,
there it was..an ASSASIN BUG! It has a
very painful bite and sucks blood.
COOL!!... I shot an Assasin Bug!
My main house-Gecko at work.
How many bugs get to hang out on
a wall next to their own portrait?
This praying mantis came and
ate a moth off my monitor.
This was the first scorpion I nabbed running amok
in my cabin.
It was feisty and I was in bare feet trying to take
photos and ward off it's fiendish attacks at the same
time, my adrenaline was in the waypast double
latte zone.
An amazing bug really. I know people who have
smoked the tails.
I got stung on the ass by one not long ago in my car
as I went to enter a restaurant. It hurt..I had a
sandwich. It hurt some more. I had a beer.
Giant Grasshoper. A predator feared by yappy little dogs. (I'm
considering breeding them). This photo may appear closer than it looks.
Some bugs just want to hang out.
THIS pretty big Tarantula
looking thing came straight
across the living room floor at
me! His bad luck! I grabbed
my little pocket camera and
deftly made the disappointing
photos to be seen below, and to
the left; before, and after I
sprayed him with some serious
Black Flag Shit..and,
I may have hit him with a broom.
Beetle
taking
off.
Beetle
landing.
Beetle on the couch.
Stick Bug on the blinds!
This
BananaSpider
(left and
above right)
got eaten by
birds. They
picked apart
it's web and
ate it's cache
of bugs. It
was sad, I
thought.
Beetles, greeting.
This Bug may have been looking for a friend.
Some Bugs seem to like my printer.
The
cicada.
This one
dodged a
few shots
before I
popped
him in the
thorax
with a
sharp bit
of
marksman
ship.
